Refund & Return Policy
1. Overview
At KATAKSHAM JEWELS, every piece is crafted with care, precision, and strict quality checks.
As we deal in gold and natural diamond jewellery, our return and exchange policies are designed to balance customer trust and product integrity.
2. Return Eligibility
Ready-to-Ship Products
Returns may be accepted under the following conditions:
- Request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery
- Product must be unused and in original condition
- Must include:
- Original packaging
- Invoice
- Certificates (if applicable)
Non-Returnable Products
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Customized or made-to-order jewellery
- Jewellery made based on customer-provided designs or references
- Products that have been resized or altered
- Items showing signs of wear, damage, or misuse
- Jewellery Purchased using Old Gold Credit (Considered as Buy Back with deduction as applicable ).
3. Exchange Policy
KATAKSHAM offers exchange on eligible jewellery under the following terms:
- Gold Value: 100% of current day gold rate
- Diamond Value: 100% of current day value
- Stone Value: 90% of current day value
Conditions:
- Product must pass quality inspection
- Final valuation will be based on prevailing market rates
- Making charges and taxes are non-refundable
- Customised jewellery (including personalised or engraved products) is not eligible For Lifetime Exchange and Buyback benefits will apply.
- If a coupon, discount, or promo code was applied during the original purchase, the Buyback/Exchange value will be reduced by an equivalent amount.
- If the discount was on making charges, it will not be deducted when calculating the Lifetime Exchange (LTE) value.
- If the discount was applied on the gold or diamond value, the entire discount will be deducted while calculating the Lifetime Exchange (LTE) value.
4. Buyback Policy
Payment Mode:
- Buyback amount will be transferred only via NEFT / bank transfer
- No cash or alternative payment modes will be provided
Additional Condition:
- Bank account details must match the customer’s registered name
- If a coupon, discount, or promo code was applied during the original purchase, the Buyback/Exchange value will be reduced by an equivalent amount.
- If the discount was on making charges, it will not be deducted when calculating the Buy Back value.
- If the discount was applied on the gold or diamond value, the entire discount will be deducted while calculating the Buy Back value.
- If the invoice is not available, an additional 15% will be deducted from the Buy Back value.
5. Solitaire Jewellery Policy
Certificate Requirement:
- Original certificate must be provided
- Missing certificate will attract a 5% deduction on value
6. Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Share:
- Order details
- Reason for return
- Unboxing video (mandatory for claims)
Once approved:
- Pickup or return instructions will be provided
- Product will undergo quality inspection
7. Refund Policy
- Refunds are processed only after successful inspection
- Refund will be initiated via original payment method or bank transfer
- Processing time: 5–7 working days after approval

- Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable
- Return shipping may be borne by the customer unless the issue is from our side
10. Important Notes
- Minor variations due to handcrafted manufacturing are not considered defects
- All decisions regarding returns, exchange, and buyback are subject to final verification by KATAKSHAM
* In case of any discount given during the original purchase on the metal and stone value, an equivalent amount will be deducted from the Exchange amount (Maximum value of Rs. 50 lakhs).
